Extending Dining Table

This client needed a table that could do two jobs, an intimate dinner for four most nights, and a full family gathering for twelve when it mattered. Rather than settling for a bulky, permanently oversized table, we engineered custom brass extension hardware that lets the table grow smoothly from its everyday size to full length, with leaves that store cleanly and align without a visible seam. The gold hardware was left exposed rather than hidden, turning what’s usually a purely functional mechanism into part of the design itself. It’s a table built to adapt to the life happening around it, not the other way around.
